Evie-Sue Rustean
I became a registered Remedial Massage Therapist in 2016 and have since immersed myself in ongoing study across multiple modalities.
My interest in bodywork began at 21 after receiving a massage that really stayed with me. I remember being struck by the effect that experience had on how I felt both physically and emotionally. Having experienced an autoimmune health challenge from a young age, I became curious about the connection between the body, nervous system and our overall wellbeing — a curiosity that continues to shape the way I work today.
Over the years, I’ve refined my approach through ongoing training and hands-on clinical experience. Frustrated by one-size-fits-all treatments, I committed to studying a range of modalities so I could offer bodywork that is personalised, considered and responsive to the individual.
I believe there is value in understanding the body as a whole rather than simply treating the area that hurts. My work is influenced by my ongoing interest in fascia, anatomy, the nervous system and the mind-body connection, while still recognising that sometimes what someone needs most is simply good, thoughtful hands-on treatment.
I work with clients seeking support with:
Chronic tension or pain
Injury recovery
Nervous system regulation
Stress-related tension patterns
Postural or structural concerns
Ongoing body maintenance and wellbeing
I particularly enjoy working with people who are curious about their bodies and value skilled, thoughtful bodywork. My aim is to listen, adapt and meet you where you are — whether you're working through a specific concern, supporting an active lifestyle, managing stress, or simply making bodywork a regular part of looking after yourself.
